I Miss You!!!!

by admin on July 28th, 2011

As you may or may not know, I’ve been getting back into the musical theatre world as of late. I just finished dancing my booty off in “The Wedding Singer” at Musical Theatre West in Long Beach. It was such as blast. Right from the beginning of the show, it was as if we literally were shot out of a cannon doing the running man at the fastest speed you can imagine. Then, I got to put on a fat suit, as one of the table niners, in “Casualty Of Love” and dance a Thriller-esque dance whilst expressing my rage about not being loved! The whole show was filled with humor and fun spirit. It was really a fun experience……but

I MISS YOU GUYS at Tomorrowland! I’m so excited to be coming back this weekend(July 29,30,31) I know we’re gonna have a great time cause we always do. I haven’t decided what I’m gonna wear yet. I’m always torn between expressing myself as an artist and being comfortable. We’ll see. Plus, my boots are on they’re last leg. Last leg? I’ve had them for maybe 4 years now. Gotta get another pair. Well I’m looking forward to singing and goofing around with you guys this weekend.

Also, I wanted to tell you that I have decided to make a “covers” album.. Lot’s of you request a “CD” and I send you to my website, tomasina.tv, to download some originals for free, but I was thinking that maybe you wanted to own a recorded performance of what I do on the Tomorrowland Stage? So I’m doing it! Now……. I need suggestions. What are your favorite songs that I do? Which songs would you love to hear me do that I don’t do? Which song would sum up your whole “TOMASINA” experience? You get the point. Start sending your suggestions.

Thank you so much for continuously hanging out with me and the band. It means the world!!!!!!

Love Tomi

I was racking my brain and thinking what would best sum up our “TOMASINA” experience. What I came up with was just hearing you sing. Of course, great artists are always supported by it supporting cast. So, let’s not forget that. Can we say more? What put over it the top was to meet you person to talk and take some photos with us. We will never forget that. What made special is that it was my birthday. I can’t thank you enough for that.

We first heard you back in late 2010. The music sounded so good that I thought the actual artists were playing their own songs. When go there the only tables available were behind stage right. From there, we were able to listen and feel the passion and crazy fun you have on stage for each and every song. It was such a great and happy experience. You’re a true entertainer and professional. People will do great if they are passionate about what they do. Your passions in you music makes the ugly of world of wars, self imploding societies, and stressful daily lives people carry around simply vanish. The few hours a month translates to a life changing experience of happy memories. The magic you bring to the stage identifies and enhances the meaning of “The happiest place on earth” and that is Disneyland’s Tomorrowland Terrace when “Tomasina” is there to “Rock the House!”

The songs such as “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal” by Evanescence, “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele, “ Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne, and many others brings an ecliptic group of great songs under one roof. What more can you ask for? But, since you asked of what song we would like to hear. Well, it’s a long list, but I will make it short. “More than a feeling” by Boston, “Magic Power” by Triumph, and any Cher, Beatles, Judas Priest, Motley Crue, Dokken, or Queenryche songs to start. We like the 80’s and current music. Sorry for this crazy list.

Thank you for always creating new and fresh memories for us every time we have a chance to see you. The sad part is that I don’t know many of the lyrics to the songs you guys play even though I know the songs, but I’m working on it. I don’t want sit and kick back, because I want to sing along and be part of that magical experience you bring. We feel so spoiled that we have the opportunity to have someone like you pull us away from our hectic lives and enjoy music from a band with extraordinary talent. Music is and will always be timeless and so are the many hearts you warm and fill with your music! My late friend DJ Hideo had always said “Live Life!” His inspiration was want to try to be a part of something great. I believe in that and that you are also a part of something great.

    p.s.
I could not narrow it down to one song to sum up the “Tomasina” experience. For that, I am sorry. Every night you guys are there is welcoming experience on its own.

    Thank you again!

Wow Ken! I couldn’t have said it better myself. I second all of it.I’ll put in my vote for Stairway and Call Me, most people won’t even attempt Stairway due to degree of difficulty both vocally and musically, and, almost all covers of Call Me end up being shouted instead of sung.Tomisina can actually sing it as well the original – Awesome!!!.

PS-Also any of the AC/DC tunes

You do “Firework” and “That’s Not My Name” tons better than the original performers. We schedule our visits to Disneyland to see you perform. Would love to have these included on your CD.
